Sessions Retreat & Hotel, Big Bear Lake

I recently spent some time at this hotel, and while there were moments of enjoyment, there were also several aspects that fell short. The rooms were quite lovely, but I did face some issues with my stay. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from many attractions. Overall, it offered decent value for what I paid, but improvements are definitely needed for a more pleasant experience.

I had a lovely time at Wolf Creek, especially with its pet-friendly policies and the cozy chalet we stayed in. The staff was accommodating and the indoor spa was a nice addition. On the downside, the hot water in the shower ran out quicker than we expected, and it could get pretty warm in the chalet without proper cooling. Overall, it was a great value for our stay.
